About Big Debate Club
Big Debate Club is an online learning programme that helps children build confidence, thinking skills, and a love of discussion through debate videos and activities.
Big Debate Club is operated by Smart School Councils, a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity Number 1156110).
Who can buy a membership
Membership can be purchased by a parent, legal guardian, or private tutor.
If a tutor purchases membership, they confirm they have permission from the child’s parent or guardian.
Children should use Big Debate Club with adult awareness and support.
What membership includes
Depending on the plan or offer, membership may include:
Access to debate videos and activities
Downloadable resources
Optional challenges or bonus content
We will update or improve content over time to keep things fresh.
How membership can be used
Membership is for home use only.
Membership is for one household and must not be shared with others.
Login details should be kept private.
Membership price and renewal
Big Debate Club membership is a monthly subscription.
The standard price is £4.99 per month, billed in advance.
From time to time, we may offer different prices, discounts, or special offers to certain individuals. These will always be clearly shown before you sign up.
Membership renews automatically each month unless cancelled.
You can cancel at any time through your account, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing month.
Refunds
Because content is available immediately, we typically do not usually offer refunds.
If you believe there has been a mistake, please contact us within 14 days and we will do our best to help.
